One thing that has always bugged me about many of these games is how often we see resets, and how solo-focused the gameplay is often. I thought POE was the REAL Diablo 3, since D3 at launch was clearly not diablo. I supported the game back when it cost money (beta?) to play. Ill be honest, I have not played POE in years. Overall, I can play on my mobile, and progress for when I actually want to sit down and play on my PC to actually play. Do some of that "daily" stuff in game, and by the time I sit down at my PC, Im ready to play. I've found I can log in on my phone while taking the dog out, mixing my PWO, grabbing socks, etc. I normally have a routine that involves me getting ready, having an "energy drink" (really a pre-workout) and I chill on my PC for 30ish minutes, usually gaming. I wake up early mornings (5am) to workout typically. Got gems, legendary drops, set piece, etc. In the 1hr workout, we ran easily over 6, if not closer to 10 dungeons. I would do a set of weights (takes 30-60 seconds) and then would have ~2 min rest time to play. I quite literally worked out in my garage the other day, while in discord, all on my phone, and was running dungeons with my buddies. These are all things I could not do playing other games. Chilling with my wife on the couch at night, after the kids go down, and running a dungeon or two while she catches up on her social media stuff. I was grilling burgers the other day, and while doing so ran a dungeon. The ability for me to go outside and watch my kids play, while casually playing some diablo.

I have never been a mobile gamer, ever, ever, ever. The rest of my gems are 1star and 2 star gems. I have paid some, like the battlepass, and some packs, my best gem is a (2/5) Blood Soaked Jade I got super lucky as a drop. My EXP scaling is 40% today (was 30% yesterday) so whatever that works out to be. I am P63, while the average server Paragon is somewhere 10+ levels below me.

While these are partly true, they also miss the mark on a playerbase.Īs of writing this, I am just north of CR 2,000 (I think like 2015). Comments like "why play this when you can play D3 or POE" or "Once D4 comes nobody on PC will play DI". I keep seeing reviews of the game pop up, talking about how its a good mobile game, ruined by P2W, and its a mediocre PC game, also ruined by P2W.
